MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2024
Your flight begins inside Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Aircraft parameters, navigation information and simulator states provide the data used by the instrument system.

A NEW WAY TO EXPERIENCE MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2024.
A flight simulator is more than the view through the windshield. Every instrument, every indication and every flight parameter contributes to the experience.
AERILIS SIMULATION is an independent flight instrumentation platform designed to extend Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 beyond the main display.
By combining a native Windows engine, Microsoft SimConnect and browser-based instrument panels, AERILIS brings essential flight information to the screens around you.
Your simulator. Your instruments. Your cockpit.
01 / SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
One simulator. Multiple connected displays.
AERILIS is built around a local-first architecture connecting your flight simulator to external instrument displays.
Your flight begins inside Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Aircraft parameters, navigation information and simulator states provide the data used by the instrument system.
The AERILIS CORE runs locally on your Windows PC and communicates with the simulator through SimConnect.
It processes flight information, manages supported instrument functions and coordinates connected displays.
Open an AERILIS instrument display from a compatible browser on a PC, iPad, tablet or smartphone connected to your local network.
No dedicated mobile application is required.
Flight instruments respond to simulator data, creating an additional cockpit display that works alongside your main simulator screen.
02 / MODULAR INSTRUMENTS
A light aircraft, a helicopter and a complex aircraft do not share the same instrumentation requirements.
AERILIS uses a modular architecture built around DECKS — dedicated instrument layouts designed for different aircraft and cockpit experiences.
Each DECK combines a visual instrument layout with the flight information and functions appropriate to its intended aircraft.
The platform is designed to evolve, with additional aircraft configurations and instrument layouts planned as development progresses.
03 / CONNECTED DISPLAYS
Build the cockpit around you.
AERILIS is designed to make use of the displays you already own.
An iPad positioned beside your flight controls, a secondary monitor dedicated to instrumentation or a tablet integrated into a home cockpit can become part of your simulation experience.
The browser-based approach offers flexibility without requiring a separate mobile application for every device.
You remain free to organize your displays around your preferred flying setup.
04 / LOCAL-FIRST ARCHITECTURE
AERILIS is designed to operate through your local network, with the Windows CORE coordinating simulator communication and connected instrument displays.
The public AERILIS website does not connect to your simulator or access your flight data.
Device pairing and access controls are part of the CORE architecture.
The current development architecture uses local HTTP and WebSocket communications. It is intended for a trusted private network, not for direct exposure to the public Internet.
This separation between the public website and the local simulator environment is a fundamental part of the AERILIS approach.
LOCAL NETWORK ONLY · DEVELOPMENT SOFTWARE · NO PUBLIC CORE ACCESS
05 / BUILT TO EVOLVE
AERILIS is being developed as a flexible flight instrumentation environment.
Its architecture separates simulator communication, the Windows Control Center and individual instrument DECKS.
This approach is intended to support progressive improvements, additional instruments and new aircraft configurations without redesigning the entire platform for each new cockpit experience.
The objective is simple: make external flight instrumentation more accessible, adaptable and enjoyable for the flight simulation community.
TECHNOLOGY / KNOWLEDGE BASE
AERILIS is being developed specifically around Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, using SimConnect for simulator communication.
The platform is designed to display instruments through compatible web browsers on devices connected to the same local network as the Windows CORE.
No dedicated iOS or Android application is planned for displaying instruments. The display interface is browser-based.
No. Instrument availability and aircraft compatibility depend on the individual DECK. Additional configurations are part of ongoing development.
Not yet. AERILIS SIMULATION is currently under active development. Public availability will be announced through the official website and community channels.
